Aveline pays a visit to the local old bookstore and buys a book about ghost stories specifically about Malmouth and the surrounding areas. Aveline’s curiosity and interest in ghosts soon make her wonder if Malmouth has any ghosts. A spooky atmosphere surrounds Malmouth, with its rainy and cold weather as well as creepy scarecrows that peer from people’s front yards.
